Google will control your thoughts...
picasa2 is a brilliant way to see all the images on your machine
It can send pics to Blogger
ie Blogger will host AND display images
display is max 400, click that and you see the big version [max 1024 1Meg?]
this is OK, the interface is clumsy
- another reason to go home to google (google own Blogger & picasa & Gmail]
As one journo said "why am I not as worried about this as I should be?

my old blog with some recent pics c/o picasa:

From where I sit in Iraq, things are not all bad right now. In fact, they are going quite well . . . In the distance, I can hear the repeated impacts of heavy artillery and five-hundred-pound bombs hitting their targets. The occasional tank main gun report and the staccato rhythm of a Marine Corps LAV or Army Bradley Fighting Vehicle's 25-millimeter cannon provide the bass line for a symphony of destruction.
Lt. Col. Tim Ryan Tacoma News Tribune January 18, 2005

thepoorman. .BAGHDAD, Jan 18 (IPS) - The U.S. military is resorting to collective punishment tactics in Iraq similar to those used by Israeli troops in the occupied territories of Palestine, residents say.
Military bulldozers have mown down palm groves in the rural al-Dora farming area on the outskirts of Baghdad, residents say. Electricity has been cut, the local fuel station destroyed and the access road blocked. The U.S. action comes after resistance fighters attacked soldiers from this area several weeks back.

The United States signed and ratified the Geneva Conventions in 1956. In 1996, Congress passed the War Crimes Act, criminalizing breaches of the Conventions. A "grave breach" of Geneva is a federal crime, punishable by imprisonment "for life or any term of years," and Geneva explicitly states that no nation "bound by the Convention can offer any valid pretext, legal or other, for not respecting the Convention in all its parts."
